Harry offers private Cello Lessons and Music Theory Tuition to people of all ages and abilities, both in person and via video conference calls. He prepares students for grades and diplomas, working with them on any goals they wish to achieve.

 

His approach focuses on developing technique and musicality in an enjoyable way that keeps the body free of tension, encouraging the student to experiment during their practice to understand overcome issues.

 

He is currently on the panel of teachers at the Pimlico Academy and the Wandsworth Music Trust where he teaches stringed instruments one to one and as whole class ensembles in primary schools around the borough of Wandsworth. He also holds a teaching post at the Wandsworth Music Academy where he runs small string groups and teaches solo cello.

 

Harry holds a firm belief that both practice and performance can and should be fun and enjoyable, and this is reflected in his style of teaching.
